ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Virginia Langmaid, and I'm a digital reporter. I write about the planet and the people in it, covering health, science, and the interactions between people and their environment.

I am a junior at Northwestern University, where I am working toward by B.S. in journalism and political science. I got my start in media with the Northwestern News Network, where I learned the ropes of television production and worked my way up to Politics Director.

My work experience includes my time with Medill News Service where I was a reporter on Capitol Hill covering energy and environment policy. I am now with CNN, where I analyze trends in Covid-19 data and publish patient-focused health stories.
